The BuildForce team are delighted to announce BuildForce Chief Exec Angela Forbes has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours 2024. We are all exceptionally pleased for Angela as she is recognised for services to the Construction Industry.
Mental Health Lead, Bernie Graham “In the ten years I have been working with Angela, she has continuously demonstrated intuitive and compassionate Leadership in promoting proactive and affective approaches to enhancing Mental Health and Wellbeing in the construction industry – from rolling out a mental health programme on London construction sites, to providing a bespoke offering for the ex-military community. A true champion, well deserved Angela.”

Angela’s passion, drive, time and huge heart has been pivotal to BuildForce’s success, always looking to make our programme stronger, ensuring our candidates are at the core of everything we do and foremost they are looked after as if they were her own – she’s that shoulder to cry on, a virtual cuddle or proverbial ‘kick up the backside’ for those who need it.
