From Army Logistics to Director of Logistics

Andy Rhodes left the Army in June 2009 after an 18 year career in the Royal Logistic Corps. During his career he served in Croatia, Macedonia and three times in Helmand Province in Afghanistan. He left the Army as a Major from his role as Deputy Chief of Staff of 16 Air Assault Brigade in which he was responsible for all aspects of the Logistic, Equipment and Personnel support for the 9000 strong Brigade. This included the deployment of the Brigade to Helmand Province in Afghanistan for a seven month tour of duty in 2008.

Andy joined Wilson James in August 2010 after a year working for BAA as the Head of Terminal Operations at Stansted Airport. He was initially employed within Wilson James as the Director of the Construction Logistics Integrator at Heathrow in which role he was responsible for the forecasting, planning, coordination and delivery of the provision of logistics support to the £1bn/pa Heathrow capital construction programme. He is currently Director Logistics Solutions for Wilson James and responsible for the development and delivery of the Wilson James consultancy business.
