Career Transition Partnership
BuildForce works closely with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP). The CTP is the official provider of Armed Forces resettlement, working with Service Leavers to provide resettlement support, career transition advice and training opportunities. It provides a no-cost recruitment service to employers, accessed upon registering with the CTP RightJob service.
BuildLondon – Filling skills gaps in the construction sector
A construction-specific jobs brokerage that successfully supported the Crossrail project has now become a London-wide initiative serving multiple projects. BuildLondon connects job seekers with vacancies in London’s major infrastructure and construction projects.
Raja – REME Transition Advice
The Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME) has become involved with many potential employers and now has a database of job opportunities run by the Raja for ex or serving officers and soldiers.

Building Heroes – This initiative provides free skills training to military veterans and support into employment in the building trades. The Foundation Property Maintenance Course is designed to provide you with a broad range of skills suitable for a career in property maintenance.
As part of their pledged commitment as Armed Forces Covenant signatory, Chapman Ventilation host Service Leavers Insight days on the first Thursday of every month.

Construction Youth Trust - Military Programme
Construction Youth Trust – Military Programme – Its goal is to offer armed forces leavers the experience necessary to make informed decisions about their ideal career, and encourage as many as possible to begin that new career in the construction industry and to reach their potential. Construction Youth Trust coordinates the delivery of the programme to Service Leavers including: industry awareness events, industry-supported online chat information service, industry-supported buddying system, work placement, and job brokerage.

Hire A Hero - RC Frame Training Programme
Hire A Hero – RC Frame Training Programme – Newtown Group, in partnership with Lambeth College and Canary Wharf Learning Centre, will provide trainees with a basic knowledge of health and safety, erecting and dismantling falsework, mechanical elevated working platform (MEWP) training and other safety-critical tickets. This knowledge is gained by attending a two-week site orientation (Boot Camp). Training is completed on a live project alongside experienced skilled tradesmen and women while working towards an NVQ2 in either formwork, carpentry or steelfixing.
